Panini all'avocado

Avocado sandwiches are the perfect recipe for those who love and enjoy using it in the kitchen. Delicious and very sweet: avocado sandwiches were born a bit " by feeling ", as they say. I was in the kitchen with my mother and instead of making the usual oil sandwiches, we wanted to add our avocados. A sweet alternative to share with friends and relatives, when we want to surprise them and take them to Mexico, through Guatemala, to the coasts of the Pacific Ocean in Central America. Ladle in hand and let's get started!

250 g of 00 flour. 62 ml of milk. 62 ml of water. 5 g of salt. 10 g of sugar. 8 g of yeast. A teaspoon of honey. 25 g of avocado.

First, we place the flour, sugar, salt and milk in a bowl or in the mixer. We work everything and then insert the avocado already mashed with the yeast. I dissolved the yeast with a little water, together with the honey. Once our mixture has blended, we let it rise for 1 hour and a half, maximum 2 hours - this is because it must double in size. Avocado sandwiches At this point, we create small balls of approximately 95/100g each and let them rise again for another 2 hours. Now the moment we've all been waiting for has arrived: let's bake! Bake at 180 - 200° for 10 - 15 minutes . Avocado sandwiches If you want, you can brush them with egg yolk and milk, adding some grated almond seeds on top, just like I did. And voilà! Our avocado sandwiches are ready. We can put a saucepan with water in the oven so that steam is created and makes our avocado sandwiches even softer. This is because the water inside the oven creates steam (unless you already have an oven with this function) and allows you to cook the sandwiches better. I also use the same process when I find myself cooking homemade bread. In fact, we can use this recipe to create sandwiches with extra virgin olive oil . The only difference is putting 20 g of oil instead of our avocado . Excellent to enjoy with either a savory or sweet filling - these avocado sandwiches are the perfect snack for you and your children. In the sweet filling, to give you an example, we can use grapefruit jam. The latter stimulates the digestive system and is rich in citric acid. It burns fat and is a powerful drainer. There are different varieties of grapefruit, ours is the Star Ruby pink grapefruit: it contains mineral salts including phosphorus, calcium, potassium and magnesium. A grandmother's remedy recommends adding a teaspoon of grapefruit to a cup of bitter coffee to combat headaches . But, returning to our friend... why avocado? I wanted to use this fruit for its many benefits. In addition to being its producers, in fact, this fruit can replace animal fat with vegetable fat. Rich in vitamins: A, B, B12, B6, B1, C, D, K, Lutein and Beta Carotene , it is perfect for those suffering from high cholesterol or diabetes, as it has no cholesterol or sugars. Thanks to its properties it can easily replace meat and helps regulate our intestines. Truly a wonderful fruit . Flavia.
